| The benefits of Integrated Weighing Systems in material handling applications are significant. Users save time, space and money while increasing operational productivity, reducing vendor discrepancies and improving physical inventory management.
Designed specifically for the application, Integrated Weighing Systems provide fast and accurate weights with each lift, enable totaling of material weights without the use of static scales, eliminate redundant material handling and increase process throughput (minimizing potential for material damage). Wireless or hardwired communications allow seamless integration with vital process information systems for optimum process control. |

MSI CellScale technology used on this steel coil grab application.Wireless Weighing and Process Control
With its CellScale wireless Network Solutions, Measurement Systems International (MSI) has taken a modular approach toward the development of its Integrated Weighing Systems for industry. CellScale technology from MSI provides an efficient means to monitor and control multiple sensors with real time communications to plant information systems through a secure wireless network.
The MSI-9000 CellScale combines advanced Analog-to-Digital signal processing and superior wireless RF technologies into a single, industrial grade, NEMA / IP rated enclosure. With compact packaging and flexible mounting configurations, the MSI-9000 CellScale and its accessory products easily integrate with analog sensing applications. Enhanced data acquisition, full-featured programmable signal processing, sophisticated data logging, and complete display of multiple sensors can be initiated and managed independently.
Lift Truck Scales
MSI also manufactures lift truck scales for tough applications. The MSI-3700 "Magnum Plus" is an innovative break from conventional lift truck scales. While other models rely on sheer bulk for strength, the Magnum Plus incorporates advanced design concepts to provide a variety of product advantages. Although you will always lose some lifting capacity when adding an attachment to a lift truck, the loss can be minimized. Magnum Plus reduces the loss because it addresses the cause: load center shift. The solution is an attachment that is lighter and narrower. At 165 lbs., Magnum Plus is an extremely light lift truck scale. Its design, which utilizes materials with high strength-to-weight ratios, reduces mass and bulk without compromising strength. The Magnum Plus also features a single load cell system. Unlike multiple load cell designs, this system is easy to calibrate and maintain. In addition, it eliminates the problems associated with multiple load cells, which often must be adjusted painstakingly.
